A56 motorway (Italy) : ウィキペディア英語版
Autostrada A56 (Italy)

The Autostrada A56, more commonly known as the Tangenziale di Napoli ("Naples Bypass"), is a tolled motorway bypassing Naples, Italy. From junction 14 with the SS7 near Arco Felice and Pozzuoli to the interchange with the A1 the route has a total length of 20.2 km. The section of road from the A1 to junction 3 (Doganella) is toll-free.
The road was designed in the 1960s with the contract to build the road signed on 31 January 1968, the first section was opened to the public on 21 July 1972. The second section to Vomero was opened on 24 January 1973. On 1 February 1975 the section to the exit at Arenella was opened with the section to Capodichino opening on 16 November 1975. The exit to junction 4 at Corso Malta was opened on 30 March 1976, with the Capodimonte opening on 22 January 1977. Fifteen years later, on 26 May 1992, junction 7 to Zona Ospedaliera was opened, allowing easy access to the Cotugno, Monaldi and Pascale Hospitals.
The road passes along the hillsides by the northern outskirts of central Naples; passing through 3.6 km of tunnels through the steep hills and across 3.3 km of impressive viaducts passing high above older structures. The road is one of the most congested motorways in Italy, with over 270,000 vehicles using it every day, traffic levels possibly rivaling those of the A4 through Milan and the A8 near the Milan barrier toll plaza.
On 9 February 2009 the ''Tutor'' speed monitoring system became operational on the Tangenziale di Napoli, encouraging motorists to abide by the 80km/h speed limit. The system has nine camera gantries over the road, located eastbound at the Solfatara tunnel entrance, Agnano, Fuorigrotta, Arenella and Capodichino. On the westbound side the gantries are located at Camaldoli, Vomero, Fuorigrotta and Agnano. The camera system calculates a vehicles average speed between the gantries and coils embedded in the road measure a vehicles speed as it passes the gantries. A map of the camera locations is available from the Tangenziale di Napoli web site: (Chilometria_Tutor_Tangenziale_di_Napoli.pdf ).

There are also seven service areas on the Tangenziale di Napoli of which four are located on the westbound section and 3 on the eastbound carriageway.
